"Follow
up to Almathea, another release with the voice from Marcie. Heard it on
Ponticelli Set, and fall in love with the track. Sounds similar with
Almathea, but the style of vocals is different".

THE TOUCH- RADIO STATION:
"...wonderful,
atmospheric little song that I'll be sure to give some attention to in
my upcoming shows. And thank you for passing along the link to the
video - visually, it's very unique... dark without really being spooky,
but you can't really take your eyes off of it either way. Hard to
describe really :)"

The Touch (feat. Marcie) - Radio Station (Charly Fath Radio Edit) review
label: Robbins
style: Electro-Indie
With
the wave of the Electro-Indie stuff coming down the pipes, it's always
great to find something not just good, but also danceable. The intro
for this track makes for an inviting first impression, and when the
quirky bassline hits, it's hard not to tap your feet to the beat. But
at the forefront of the track is the breathy, ethereal vocal of Marcie.
It's a fun vocal that really plays well with the lead line.
I
think one of the best features of this track is that every time you
listen to it, you hear something different about it, and any element
you focus on has a very nice musicality to it.
I
don't see this exploding in the clubs, but I see it going down well on
more than a few music blogs, and ultimately exploding out in the indie
scene.

DANCENODE.COM ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
by Jamie
"So
I have always intended to start posting links to new artists and
collabs that I find around the net and one that came across my radar in
the last couple of days that reminded me of this intention is an artist
by the name of Marcie.
Her
vocals appear on various dance labels and it has this soft quality that
is soothing yet driving. One track that caught my attention is MagicIslandParadise
by DJ Shah on Deep Blue Records. She mentions on her myspace blog that
she’s receiving support from some big names
including Judge Jules, B.E.N, Airbase, John O’
Callaghan, JJOY, Dj JErom, and Stu Cox, congrats!. There is also a
mention new tracks that are complete and few others in the pipeline,
you should check out her website for more info."

"Moving
along reveals the nrg vocal trance stormer Passion, which leads
smoothly into Marcie’s luscious vocals in Your Destination. Every
time I hear her smooth voice I can’t help but smile. A truly blissful song that will make your spirits soar."
Miles- Writer for Tranceunited.com
"I
met Marcie, a very sweet person who has a beautiful voice and sings for
a living. She not only sings pop or rock music, but she also is
involved with varies well known trance artists. Recently she gave her
voice to a track from the well known German DJ Shah. All in all I was
really happy to meet Marcie, and I hope all who love music in general
and of course like trance, check out her site and check out her sweet
voice. All I can say is watch out Jan Johnston Justine Suizza, because
MARCIE isaround the corner. Look at my top friends list and click on
her name!!!Or check out her webpage at www.webmarcie.com " profile:

ROCHESTER INSIDER:
Brightonian singer/songwriter finding successs in Boston Written by Pam Cowan (August 18, 2006)
When
insider talked with budding singer/songwriter Marcie (like Cher and
Madonna, she goes by her first name) in June 2004 she was teaching
S.A.T. practice classes, working as a secretary at her parents'
accounting business and performing with Nik & the Nice Guys.
Today she lives in Boston, and her song "The Touch - Radio Station" was released on Robbins Entertainment, an international dance label, in July.
"It is my biggest release to date," says Marcie, 26. "(It's) receiving airplay on major radio stations worldwide."
What have the past two years been like for you?
In the last two years I have moved to Boston
(and) set up my own recording studio. I have focused intently on
songwriting and recording in a wide variety of genres, including
trance, progressive trance, house, Eurodance, pop, ambient, commercial
and rock. Many of my compositions have been produced and signed to
labels, and those songs are now being released worldwide. It's very
exciting.
What are you working on now?
There
are quite a few new and upcoming releases. Highlights include: The
trance track, "Yamin featuring Marcie - Blanket of White," which came
out on Abora Recordings on July 24. This collaboration features Yamin
(an artist on the European label Armada) from Copenhagen.
I ... also have a house music release out on Curvve Recordings called
"Emjae featuring Marcie - Loaded Gun." ... "Pavliga and Denis Binokl
featuring Marcie - Stay" is currently No. 1 on "Hit Parade" for
KISS-FM, the Ukraine's largest dance music station.
Are you finally where you want to be as an artist?
I've
felt a lot of artistic evolution take place for me, especially in the
last year. I feel creative energy and inspiration flowing through me
all the time. I'm proud of my work so far, and I hope I can continue
growing as a songwriter and performer. ... I would like to keep
focusing on developing stronger lyrics and melodies. ... I'm happy to
be fortunate enough to be a working musician, as it's a fulfilling
pursuit for me. Music will always be a part of my daily life and
professional aspirations, and while I'm happy where I am now as an
artist, I see many avenues that I would like to explore and people that
I would like to work with.

Yup!
1.
